Why choose Gates Heritage?
We take honor in being unique and one of a kind. Our work is not mass produced. Often we use methods and materials that others do not. We use the #1 source in the world for sustainable products, wood. Then we turn that into beautiful functional wood art. And when we say functional, we mean it. Our pieces are not just for show, they are meant to be used.

Who We Are
Darby Gates. Idealist. Dreamer. Fantasy to fruition. Darby is able to see colors for what they are, brilliant. She can choose a complementary palate for your home or business and see to it that each piece executes a part of the overall total design. Her Mother was an artist, a painter. Her Father, a thinker. A doer. She has acquired a bit of both.
Brad Gates. Concept…design…completion. Brad is a true artist, down to his core. He can sketch and draw, design and create. He puts his whole heart and soul into what he does, which shines through his work. Brad comes from a long line of creative people. His Father was a logger in Montana and was a wiz at woodworking. His Grandfather was a master carpenter and built beautiful homes and buildings in the foothills of California. It was just a matter of time that he would tap into that line of talent and use it.
As a team, they take pride in the fact that they can really call this a handcrafted business. Meaning, each piece and component of each piece, is done by hand. One at a time. This makes each piece unique. No two pieces are ever going to be exactly alike.
